Philip Mauro – This has to be a sermon of grace and not Law….bringing sinful men into the knowlege of the father and into conscious enjoyment of the relationship, with all the privileges and responsibilites.

In contrast to Mt Sinai, it is All grace to His children. There is a difference between the sinner’s sins and the believer’s tresspasses, The first is pardoned upon repentence while the latter is forgiven through  confession, tghrough intercession by the Advocate, and upon the ground of the same sacrifice.
